We would like to invite you to the XXth International Conference of the OLYMPIC CENTER FOR PHILOSOPHY AND CULTURE, which will take place from August 02-07, 2009, in Ancient Olympia and in Pyrgos, Elia, Greece.
The topic of the Conference for this year is:
ENLIGHTENMENT IN THE GREEK AND THE EUROPEAN TRADITION
The organizers of the XXth International Conference hope participants will explore the variety of views on THE IMPACT OF ENLIGHTENMENT ON:

RELIGION AND SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS
MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT
ARCHEOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT
In addition, there will be a number of roundtable discussions on topics relating to the above mentioned areas.

• Two or three evening receptions with dinner and musical entertainment
• Visits to archeological sites of Ancient Olympia
• Attendance of a theatrical performance
